Utah Trip

Well I had a great week last week! Last week I went to Utah to do some cover music videos, gigs, and a songwriter seminar. It was a crazy busy, but fun week! I drove up with my mom on Monday and boy was it a long drive. It took us about 11 hours and I did most of the driving. I liked being the driver rather than being the passenger. On Tuesday and Wednesday I rehearsed and filmed 4 cover song music videos with a well known YouTuber, Shaun Canon. It was so fun! The songs we ended up doing were "Can't Remember To Forget You" by Rihanna, "You Sound Good To Me" by Lucy Hale, "Story of My Life" by One Direction, and "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5. We filmed all 4 videos in one day. I was so burnt out by the end of that day. But it was worth it! I'll be releasing those videos one week at a time soon! I also had a gig in Provo at this restaurant called Guru's. It was a great night! Then Friday and Saturday I went to a songwriter seminar at Refinement Records in Draper. That was a great seminar because I met with publishers and songwriters from Nashville and L.A. It was also a great place to network with tons of talented artists and songwriters. Saturday night I competed in an "Open Mic Fight" and then drove back home to Arizona that night. My dad and I left Utah and midnight and got to Arizona at 10 am. It was a long night! I also had the chance to watch the final cut of the "Soldier Song" music video! That video still won't be released for a couple months, but be ready for it!

Well that was my crazy week! I'm excited to see what February brings!
